Having attended many concerts through the 80's 90's and 00's, seen many things that would point to this tech being deployed and experimentation being conducted on an unsuspecting public.

There were rumors in the 80s of a black box that traveled with the Grateful Dead and was setup under the stage.
Many strange things at these concerts. After the Dead stopped touring it is said the "torch" was passed to another band with a huge following.
I've personally seen manipulation of a persons whole body in these settings. More than once.
