Apple CEO Tim Cook Says Apple Will Not Permit ‘Hate Speech’ (as Defined by the Left) – “Because It’s the Right Thing To Do!”

Apple CEO Tim Cook spoke yesterday and announced Apple will not permit ‘hate’ speech on its platform. Who died and made Tim Cook God?

Apple CEO Tim Cook spoke yesterday per macrumors.com –

Apple CEO Tim Cook this afternoon accepted the Anti-Defamation League’s inaugural Courage Against Hate Award at the Never is Now Summit on Anti-Semitism and Hate, where he gave a keynote speech that had a strong message for those seeking to spread hate on Apple’s platform.

“We only have one message for those who seek to push hate, division, and violence, Cook said. “You have no place on our platform. You have no home here.”

Cook said –

Cook went on to say that this is a longtime view of Apple’s, and he pointed out the company’s removal of Infowars content earlier this year. Apple, he said, is not afraid to say that its values drive its curation decisions.

From the earliest days of iTunes to Apple Music today, we have always prohibited music with a message of white supremacy. Why? Because it’s the right thing to do.

Cook now deems himself the one who knows all and the grand master who is the arbitrator of all speech. He doesn’t believe in free speech like all the social media moguls, but in shutting down any opposing views by conveniently calling them white supremacist or whatever to shut them down. Conservatives be damned.

America must decide if it wants free speech or not. Republicans must decide if they want to be a voice for America or not. If they continue to sit back and do nothing as the mainstream media and social media continue to discriminate, target and prevent conservative free speech, they will soon all be forgotten.

Conservative attorney Harmeet Dhillon responded to Cook’s threat.

Meet The Ballot-Harvesting Felon At The Center Of A Still-Undecided North Carolina Race

A North Carolina man known for creative "electioneering" and alleged fraud is now at the center of a hotly contested House race in the state's Ninth District separated by just 905 votes, which state regulators have refused to certify, according to the New York Times.

Elections regulators are poised to hold an evidentiary hearing this month. Investigators have already begun questioning witnesses about what Joshua Malcolm, who was named on Monday as the election board’s chairman, described last week as “claims of numerous irregularities and concerted fraudulent activities” with regard to absentee ballots in rural parts of the district. -NYT

At the center of those activities is L. McCrae Dowless Jr. - a felon and politico convicted of perjury and fraud in the early 1990s. Dowless - known for get-out-the-vote campaigns revolving around absentee ballots, was hired by a firm working for Republican candidate Mark Harris against Democrat Dan McCready, and was rumored to be in line for a $40,000 bonus if Harris won the election.

UK govt ministers found to be in contempt of parliament

UK govt ministers have been found to be in contempt of parliament for failing to publish the full legal advice concerning the Brexit deal agreed with the EU, an offence that can result in expulsion from the house of commons.

The contempt of parliament motion tabled by Labour and other opposition parties, including PM Theresa May's confidence and supply partners, the DUP, was passed by 311 votes to 293.

UK can stop Brexit unilaterally - EU legal adviser's bombshell gives hope to Remainers

The UK has the power to unilaterally stop the Brexit process, the EU’s top legal advisers have said, contradicting statements from London that Article 50 could only be stopped with agreement of all 27 EU member states.

The Advocate General, in a report prepared for the European Court in Strasbourg, stated that the UK could suspend the already triggered two-year Article 50 process, according to a lawyer for the group that brought forward the case.

The advice comes just five days before Parliament begins debating Prime Minister Theresa May’s largely unpopular Brexit deal, before voting on it on December 11.

“Advocate General Campos Sanchez-Bordona proposes that the Court of Justice should declare that Article 50… allows the unilateral revocation of the notification of the intention to withdraw from the EU,” the bloc’s top court’s statement read.

“The UK parliament has to give its final approval,” wrote the advocate general, in the case of either a satisfactory withdrawal agreement being reached or in the absence of a satisfactory agreement.

This “would open the possibility for the UK to remain in the EU in the face of an unsatisfactory Brexit,” he added.

The Advocate General’s opinions are not binding. Judges will now decide on whether or not to accept his advice, though they have a tendency to do so in most cases.

The statement added that it would be possible for the UK to announce its intention to stay in the bloc, up until such time that the withdrawal agreement was “formally concluded.”

It also stipulated that this needed to be in accordance with UK constitutional law, and that the European Council is informed and it doesn’t involve “abusive practice.”

Unsurprisingly the news was received badly by chief Brexiteer Nigel Farage, who tweeted both elements in the UK and EU were attempting to stop Brexit.

The news will further hinder May’s plans to gain Parliament’s approval for her EU withdrawal agreement. Sixteen weeks remain before Article 50’s deadline on March 29. Should Parliament reject May’s deal, as they are expected to do, the potential option to halt the process will look more attractive compared to the likely chaos of a no-deal Brexit.
