Military planning at its finest does not mean what people think it means; it does not mean that everything gets laid down one card at a time, inexorably, until victory. It means that as many contingencies have been planned for that can be planned for, and as many alternatives have been set up that can be set up. Most plans don't survive the first round fired in anger; this Plan has survived over a year, and is still chugging towards its goal.
