I dunno if that is the case. But if so, I never really blamed W. for all the horrific shit that went down during his administration. He wasn't the mastermind behind all of it; it was all a long-term plan that preceded him. He was of the bloodline and in a good political position to take the presidency (with a little help from SCOTUS). Moreover, I just get a sense that he has some goodness in him. Could be wrong, and he had to know what they were doing, which would make him complicit. But it just seems like it was all out of W's control and he was just the man they installed, along for the ride as the public face. Plus he dodged that shoe like a fucking ninja, which was one of the most amazing presidential actions this country has ever seen.
Now, I never got any sort of positive vibes from Cheney. You could see the evil on his face from day 1. And it seems clear that Cheney and crew were calling the shots and executing that PNAC plan.
