Working on that web of connections I was talking about earlier in the week.
Preview of some WIP illustrating the format I am currently using. Timeline extends from subject at center, down. Connections denoted as institutions and persons. Substantive individuals and persons can then be given their own linked timeline following the same format. Cross-references should be kept to a minimum and kept relevant to subject, only. You can see where this has the potential to run all kinds of crazy if the MB's relation to all other people Al-Banna is connected to get referenced in the same map.
This would be intended to be the core of a sort of database… perhaps better served by a database, now that I think about it. Anyway, in theory, all of this should be able to be exported into html files or others that allow for click-through navigation to move through people and groups to see how it is all inter-related.
More comprehensive maps could be built using a well-maintained file, pertaining to specific subjects. This map rapidly expands to hundreds of individuals and subjects and will require multiple anons working on it to get it to anything approaching a state of completion in a reasonable time frame.
Thoughts… criticisms?
