In fact, for some areas, shit gets so out of control governments call in shooters to cull the population. When I was growing up through multiple semi-deep recessions, there were a few times the local government sent shooters in to cull deer simply because there were so many and they kept causing terrible traffic accidents. A redpill for many family men in the area was that they would cull 200-300 at a time, where each could supply a family with meat for a winter. Instead of their freezer, the remains got tossed into a rendering plant.
