There was an anon posted some pics of the atmospheric disturbances over CERN a while back. Didn't save, dammitall. If it can have that kind of effect many miles away in a thin medium like the atmosphere, it stands to reason it might have a stronger effect in a dense conductor like the iron/nickel of the earth's outer and inner cores.
Reports were of the earth "ringing like a bell". Isn't that kind of portentious?
