Once Dems take the speaker's seat and committee chairs in the House there is a shitload they can do to throw a wrench in whatever POTUS or any law enforcement agency tries to accomplish.
If they manage to forestall "the Storm" until the first week of January, it will be a massive relief for all the bad actors, on issues far beyond the FISA fuckery.
The Dems are not stupid. Just watch them.
