I always had a feeling…
I nearly died from a massive Oxycontin addiction (snorted 99% of the time without the skins, so just pure powder, which was a LOT stronger than popping them) from a blown out back in 2001-2003. I've had broken ribs, 2 hernia surgeries, a shattered face and broken jaw, my back….
And NOTHING is hell like Opioid withdrawls. And you did a GREAT job describing it. And the one thing I would add is, you go from living in this soft cloud, to this PAINFUL reality, and you KNOW you have to get distance, and time may as well move backwards it goes so slow. Torture of the highest form.
But…I'm 15 years 100% CLEAN as of December 3rd, and if I can do it, anyone can.
