Jimmy must know lots about DS machinations. He's still quite lucid… have to wonder if he hasn't been asked to give testimony to help put away swamp critters.
I would say - Jimmy isn't cabal.
He was used by the cabal and his naivete allowed him to be used. So yes, he had connections to Zbig and Schlesinger and other really bad swamp critters, but he only dimly grasped their agendas when he accepted their support in the politics of the 70s.
By 1976, Americans were sick of foreign interventionist wars and wanted a president who seemed honest and down-to-earth… an antidote to Nixon. Jimmy fit the bill. When he got into office and promptly fired GHWB from the CIA, the cabal saw Jimmy was getting too big for his breeches so they put measures in place to contain his presidency and, ultimately, ensure that he'd be a one-term president.
It was pretty clear that 9/11 was hardly GWB's idea… heck he's only got half the IQ necessary to hatch such a plan… but he was a willing/coerced participant.
As a former president, his testimony would carry a lot of weight with the tribunals and the People.
GWB's 'teary breakdown' at the end looked totally fake to me. Can't read his mind of course, but if he was genuinely crying, were they tears for his daddy or for what he knows his own fate to be? or the fate of his siblings?
I understood the term 'holy catholic church' in the creed they recited to mean the 'universal church', not the 'Roman Catholic Church'.
