Am tending to agree with you here after seeing this extended version -
Laura was already singing and was possibly offering Jeb her service guide, as
he didn't have one - the lyric that he was too dumb to know was "Hallelujah" . . . .
Though, I still wish it were the initial inference from the shorter version/still
shots that it was a short, sharp message that scared the crap out of him!
