There's another aspect to it. Freddy or a Freddy like character is a natural response to the board going from fringe to mainstream. In the past that culture clash has inevitably led to the original users leaving, with the culture that built the place, and going to their containment board. And after a few cycles of that, they all ended up at pol or b or some chan. Thenthe election happened and pol got bombarded by normies and everyone trickled here. And now it's a weird situation because thisisn't just some chan board. It's the most narrowly focused board of its kind. Never before seen.
Freddy is the representation of all that clash coming to one place. When this board artificially cleanses because all the normies demand it and they fall for the shill tactics, who knows what happens.
Trump has been the first ever subject to bring the fringe back out to the normie spots as payback for the years of corraling everyone into shitholes like pol. And it got wrapped up into an all out worldwide culture war with censorship and pc bullshit. And it's magnificent. And this place was tipping back toward normie bullshit because everyone's here now. Everyone. All the shills, normies, and weirdos. Freddy was inevitable. And just like Trump, nothing but a face for a larger clash brewing under the surface for a long time. Something special.
Writing it off as some social disorder or momentary fluke is just as foolish as it was for Trump support. And they still haven't stopped with that bullshit. And all the normal cycles are happening faster and faster and faster. Once in a lifetime.
