re. Jeb's horror at seeing the leaflet Laura is showing him–as much as I would love it to be DS related, it honestly looks like horror at some amateurish error in the leaflet. Episcopal-anon here, from a church like the National Cathedral that does funerals almost as high-profile as this, that is the look of horror you get when some idiot fucks up the leaflet for an ex-Pres funeral. It really feels that horrifying, the more so when it's your family and when the whole funeral would have been planned far in advance (even if the death was natural, people like this have funeral plans already organized).

Ok, Episcopal-fag here (and ecumenical theology-fag)–this controversy could not be more FULL OF SHIT. The only reason they would not recite the Apostles Creed would be a rejection of the whole proceeding.

  1. The Apostles Creed is the oldest of the creeds. Catholics, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Episcopalians and many other churches agree on it.

  2. Only an insanely rigid/stubborn person would opt out of a creed at any time, though never at an event like this, over some small translation issue.

  3. The Trumps were married at, and attend, the Episcopal church in Bethesda by the Sea. This church has a traditional background but in the present day is liberal leaning. Zero conflicts with any liturgical decisions at National Cathedral.

  4. Even if the Trumps were "Evangelical", which they aren't, they would join in Christian worship on a state occasion and on ANY occasion. In fact, they've shown themselves to be enormously ecumenical and joyfully join in any worship that isn't satanic. Think international state occasions, national days celebrating holy days of other faiths, etc.

  5. Thus, to remain silent at a state funeral would rub–painfully–against any religious or liturgical sensibilities they have.

Therefore: Their silence can only be understood as a refusal to participate in the evil of the whole cabal-a-thon, not the elements of the service itself. Please, let's extinguish the incredible ignorance on this matter!

Sorry, I missed this and the discussion on night shift, just catching up. The short (6 sec) clip I watched looked like she was holding up a program. But if it was a note from SS, then I err.

Thanks for link to the leaflet. This typo would have pissed Laura off. So I'd still argue that their horror could have been at this.

As NYC area fag, thanks for the PSA, but what does this have to do with Q-research? Please don't say it's related to the WTC hearing, because it is related to the parlous state of our transit, and this kind of thing is happening to many trains/subway lines. Pity commuters.

In the name of the Holy Church fathers, please stop with the ignorance. catholic/=/Roman Catholic. Churchgoers know this. This is Fake News to gin up controversy because no Trump-bashing was allowed at the funeral.

The upside of this Fake News is that everyone is goog'ing the Apostles Creed today, so maybe people will fucking learn something.
