"Can anything good come out of" the Daily Mail? They speak the native language of their father, the devil, and he was a liar from the beginning. It is no sin to not recite something in church, or to stand silent while others do. That said, the Apostle's Creed was not written by the apostles.
God doesn't look at humans the way other humans do. God looks at the intent of a person's heart, not their outward action or appearance (1 Sam 16:7, Jeremiah 17:10). Numerous people stand silent in church while others pray, sing, etc. The devil himself quoted scripture (Matthew 4).
Daily Mail, you are a banging gong. Noisy, irritating, and good for nothing but to annoy.
Back to the Apostle's Creed, here's a good article on the "iffys" about it. It is not in the Scripture, therefore, not mandatory. It is preference to say it or not (I personally don't). Whether one says it or not means nothing. It is a personal preference and has no bearing on the condition of a person's soul; their spirituality or lack of. Daily Mail just trying to cause trouble.
