The Bible is a whole; Jesus is pointed to in each book of the Old Testament. Without Jesus we are doomed to misery and hell on Earth (as well as in the afterlife). We are seeing the last one hundred year march toward me as the god of the universe and the horrors that have ensued. Without Jesus who revealed himself to us in the flesh, we are nothing. All goodness, truth, beauty and goodness comes through Jesus (who is the One True God). Our likeness and image of God is our will and intellect, our spiritual nature, our ability to co-create WITH God. Without God we have ugliness, lies, and evil.
