To call is an "11/11 worldwide seismic event" is an unjustified inference.
We have an 11/11 event that has been detected by seismic stations worldwide.
The source/origin/nature of the event, other than it causes seismographs to bob in a unique way not felt by people on the ground, is unknown. There have been a number of speculations but calling it a "seismic event" begs the question by categorizing the event as seismic which it's not proven to be.

I'll rephrase.
Calling it "seismic" implies that the source/cause was earth movement.
Instead, it's more accurate to say it was detected by seismometers but the source/cause is unknown.
