This is not notable. It took me about 20 mins to debunk this theory.

@2:13:38 You can clearly see her holding the program for the funeral in her hand.

@2:15:07 You can see the opposite page she is holding and make out the shape of the words on the page. There is only ONE page of the program that this could correspond to. PAGE 19

The page that she showed Jeb is the one before that. PAGE 18

If you look at the program at page 18 you will see that it is The Blessing, The Dismissal and the final Hymn sung by the choir.

Two things are going on here.

  1. The blessings final sentence was read incorrectly by Bishop Curry. At first I thought this was what their faces portrayed as disgust due to the bishop severely butchering the last line. On further inspection I realized that was not the case which leads us to number 2.

  2. The moment she shows the program to Jeb you will notice the choir is singing the last line of the first verse of the Hymn on page 18. Alleluia. Note that at the top of the Hymn it says "sung by all".

At the moment she shows the page to Jeb both of their mouths are opened, not in disgust, but because they are beginning to sing Alleluia in the middle of the word. She is basically letting Jeb know that they are suppose to be singing. The only reason Jeb drops his hand from his heart is because the casket has passed and Laura's reminder to sing has confused Jeb at first as he realized he has messed up in front of the camera and also does not want to disrespect GHWB at his funeral. It is a classic Jeb Moment.

Now the key to all of this. If you watch Laura's mouth thru this moment you will quickly realize she is singing Alleluia. It is harder to pick up on Jeb but quite obvious for her.

Check time @ 2:15:01 to 2:15:05. To see her singing.
