Israel Hacks Lebanese Communications And Sends Messages Warning From Hezbollah

At the late hours of December 6, the residents of the southern Lebanese town of Kfar Kela received on their mobile phones voice messages from Israel telling them to “stay away from Hezbollah,” according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).

The Israeli message, which was sent in Arabic, also called on the civilians to stay away from “Hezbollah’s suspicious tunnels” and threatened to destroy the entire town.

In response to this cyber attack, Lebanon’s Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister, Gebran Bassil, instructed the country’s representative in the U.N., Amal Mudallali, to prepare a complaint on Israeli’s hacking of the Lebanese communication network and on its threats to the civilians in Kafr Kela.

“A new violation by Israel, which don’t care for the sanctity and privacy of the civilians and its direct threat to their lives, is added to its violations at sea, air and land,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in an official statement.

Two days ago, the Israeli military claimed that its engineer units had uncovered a tunnel of Hezbollah that starts in Kafr Kela and penetrates 40 meters into Israel near northern town of Metulla. The discovery was a part of the ongoing Operation Northern Shield, which was launched on December 3.

Israel’s threats to Kfar Kela’s residents come in line with an earlier statement of Benjamin Netanyahu. The Israeli Prime Minister had told several foreign ambassadors that there is a “reasonable possibility” that the Israeli military may have to conduct operations inside Lebanon territory.

Federal Judge Opens Discovery Into Clinton Email Usage

Court Criticizes Current Justice Department for “Chicanery”

District Court Judge Lamberth Orders “Proposed Plan and Schedule for Discovery Within Ten Days”

Discovery Must Also Explore Whether Clinton Intentionally Used Private Email Server to “skirt FOIA”

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that, in a ruling excoriating both the U.S. Departments of State and Justice, U.S. District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth has ordered both agencies to join Judicial Watch in submitting a proposed schedule for discovery into whether Hillary Clinton sought to evade the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by using a private email system and whether the State Department acted in “bad faith” by failing to disclose knowledge of the email system. The decision comes in a FOIA lawsuit related to the Benghazi terrorist attack.

Specially, Lamberth ruled:

… the Court ORDERS the parties to meet and confer to plan discovery into (a) whether Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email while Secretary of State was an intentional attempt to evade FOIA; (b) whether the State Department’s attempts to settle this case in late 2014 and early 2015 amounted to bad faith; and (c) whether State has adequately searched for records responsive to Judicial Watch’s requests.

Terming Clinton’s use of her private email system, “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency,” Lamberth wrote in his MEMORANDUM OPINION:

… his [President Barack Obama’s] State and Justice Departments fell far short. So far short that the court questions, even now, whether they are acting in good faith. Did Hillary Clinton use her private email as Secretary of State to thwart this lofty goal [Obama announced standard for transparency]? Was the State Department’s attempt to settle this FOIA case in 2014 an effort to avoid searching – and disclosing the existence of – Clinton’s missing emails? And has State ever adequately searched for records in this case?

Poroshenko Regime Continues To Fuel Military Tensions In Region

On December 6, Ukranian President Petro Poroshenko wrote on Twitter that his regime is reinforcing its military forces on the border with Russia.

“…military units from the Ukrainian armed forces have been redeployed to the most dangerous directions along the entire line of our border [with Russia] in order to strengthen defensive capabilities”, Poroshenko wrote.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Parliament approved the law “On the adjacent zone of Ukraine” (No. 8361). In the framework of the law, ships and boats of the Coast Guard of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine can employ weapons without warning to repel an invasion or attack on them. This law comes into force from the day following the day of its publication.

The Parliament also backed a decision to not prolong the term of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

These steps of the Poroshenko regime will further escalate the already tense situation in the region. Following the November 25 incident between a Ukrainian naval group and Russian coastal guards in the Black Sea, the Kiev government imposed martial law in 10 regions and accused Russia of preparing an invasion.

On December 5 and December 4, representatives of the self-proclaimed Republic of Donetsk as well as the Russian Foreign Ministry warned that the Poroshenko regime with help from British experts may stage a chemical attack to provoke a new round of hostilities in eastern Ukraine.

Starting from November 25, the Poroshenko regime is contributing all possible efforts to fuel at least a limited military conflict with Russia. In early 2019, Ukraine will hold a presidential election and Poroshenko has little chances to win them if no extraordinary measures are employed. The options are:

to delay the election;

to purge political opponents;

to get a “wide” international support that would allow the current regime to remain in power despite low chances to do this via common democratic mechanizms.

The conflict with Russia is the core of all of this options.

Trump’s Energy Regulator Pick Wins Confirmation By Razor-Thin Margin

President Donald Trump’s nominee for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission survived his confirmation vote Thursday, returning a GOP majority to the powerful federal agency.

Bernard McNamee — Trump’s pick to become a member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) — won confirmation by a 50-49 vote. The razor-thin margin fell along party lines, with Democrats sharply opposed to his nomination.

The vote brings an end to what became a contentious candidacy for McNamee. Democrats on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee initially took umbrage with his past work in the Department of Energy, where he led an unsuccessful effort to enact a bailout for failing coal and nuclear plants. However, things became worse for McNamee when a controversial video surfaced in late November.

In the footage, McNamee is heard trashing renewable energy, environmentalists and the concept of global warming.

“Renewables, when they come on and off, it screws up the whole the physics of the grid,” he said during a speech in February, during his time working for the conservative Texas Public Policy Foundation. “The green movement is always talking about more government control because it’s the constant battle between liberty and tyranny.” McNamee also added that he tells his son to “deny it” if the subject of climate change comes up in his science class.

The video created a wave of backlash from Senate Democrats.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer railed against McNamee during a floor speech, every Democratic senator became opposed to his nomination, and a number of environmental groups voiced their opposition.

In a notable reversal, West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin joined his party in voting against McNamee’s nomination Thursday. The vote was a pivot from in November, where he voted in favor of advancing McNamee through the Energy and Natural Resources Committee. Manchin, who is facing backlash from his party’s environmental base, cited the video as reason for his change of heart.

Does even his family like him? Macron’s approval rating plunges to 18% as France is in crisis

Whilst yellow vest protests, sparked by the Macron government over fuel price hikes but quickly becoming the working-class against the globalists and spreading to a revolution moving Europe-wide, continue gaining in numbers and receiving well over 70 per cent approval ratings, Mr. Macron’s approval continues to sink.

As the latest YouGov poll reveals, his numbers are going lower and lower, now to a mere 18 per cent. Another 3 per cent drop in just days.

As high as the yellow vests APPROVAL rating goes, Macron’s DISapproval rating is still higher at a massive 76 per cent.

Well, at least it can be said of the beleaguered President, that he left the palace looking better than it did when he arrived.
