A 25-year-old woman was convicted of trafficking heroin and unlawful conduct toward a child in Greenville.
Victoria Lorraine Sanchez, of Laredo, Texas, was sentenced to 32 years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections, according to 13th Circuit Solicitor Walt Wilkins.
Deputies found 14 bags containing 6.94 kilograms (more than 17 pounds) of packaged heroin in a concealed compartment beneath the seat where her 3-year-old child was seated, a news release from the Solicitor's Office said.
