Fuck you, last year. Seriously?

Last thing i bought from them was like 6 years ago. And it was a fucking floppy drive because i was trying to install legacy drivers for some ancient plotter. The 50yo best buy guy just gave me a blank stare. Fuck I'm getting angry thinking about that project.

Is that a person? No.

I think it's a more common problem than you'd assume. Plotters are expensive as fuck so lots of people and schools and businesses are always trying to make 20yo shit keep working. Archis, photofags, contractors. I was just helping a design friend with an old $10k plotter someone gave him. It was practically useless without 2 weeks worth of emulating old OSs and going through years worth of drivers.

Yeah i kind of just figured that out. I considered trying to play with vac tube audio at some point but that's the only context I've ever seen them in.
