anon - there are literal single lane dirt tracks…with 500$k houses on them all the way along. the roads around here in towns such as Clinton are CATASTROPHE third world standard. the subsidence on roads around here is so bad in places they cannot be serious about the signed speed limit. drainage is non-existent in places and water just flows across roads and lighting in some places is the same as it was about 1920. you heard all this before? the sheer volume of man holes is incredible and as you know every one of them is an introduced weak point and all of them collapse…
someone died on 110 in Clinton a couple of days ago, just over the border from Stirling, imo a direct consequence of the DESIGN of the road and the attractive nuisance caused by the government viz the reservoir access point. $$$$$
