What was in the envelope?
No way it was an indictment. From the reaction of Jeb, it was instant, and didn't take much thought. It must have been a picture, or a few words, in big type. It was something that he immediately recognized… And that immediately terrified him. No way he would have processed an indictment that quickly.
To process something that quickly, and to cause that reaction, it had to be a picture…. Or some simple words… Perhaps an inside code word only they thought they knew.
