France and Germany tell EU states ‘to take refugees or pay’

A new German-Franco document that was presented on Thursday, states that EU countries that refuse to take refugees should pay to escape their responsibility, Reuters reports.

The measure is seen as a form of “alternative solidarity” in which EU member states pay into the EU’s budget for developmental projects in Africa.

The document aims to prevent renewed conflicts over taking migrants. By paying off their responsibility to take migrants, EU rows with countries that don’t want to take migrants or refugees could be prevented.

Among other things, the document does say that a situation should be avoided in which all countries prefer to pay.

Countries like Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic have frequently repeated they don’t want to take migrants.

Blue State Blues: Democrats Call Ballot Harvesting ‘Fraud’ in North Carolina, ‘Democracy’ in California

Democrats are crying foul over alleged voter fraud in North Carolina’s 9th congressional district, where Republican operative Leslie McCrae Dowless is accused of using “ballot harvesting” to help Mark Harris defeat Democrat Dan McCready.

According to the Washington Post, Dowless and his staff gathered absentee ballots from voters and offered to mail them in on the voters’ behalf. Only near relatives are allowed to do that under North Carolina law.

But in California, third parties may submit an unlimited number of mail-in ballots, thanks to a new law signed by Gov. Jerry Brown in 2016.

The practice of “ballot harvesting” is now thought to have had a major impact on the 2018 midterm elections in California, where several incumbent Republicans in competitive districts had healthy leads on Election Night, only to discover — weeks later, in some cases — they had lost, thanks to mail-in ballots.

When outgoing Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) criticized California’s new practice of “ballot harvesting” — which Republicans failed to utilize — last week, Democrat Secretary of State Alex Padilla responded angrily.

In a statement, Padilla declared: “In California, we believe in an inclusive and accessible democracy. We provide voters as many opportunities as possible to cast their ballots.” Ryan, he said, opposed “basic voting rights protections.”

But Padilla’s fellow Democrats in North Carolina see “ballot harvesting” in a rather different light.

North Carolina Democratic Party Chairman Wayne Goodwin said Monday that the allegations of “ballot harvesting” in the 9th district, “if true,” would amount to “a calculated effort to illegally undermine our free elections,” according to CNN, which has covered the controversy in North Carolina with breathless outrage (while largely ignoring California).

It might be said that the “ballot harvesting” in North Carolina is different because Dowless is not just being accused of collecting absentee ballots, but of filling them out for voters — or even making sure that some voters’ ballots were never delivered.

Those practices are illegal in California, too. But there are no real safeguards in California to make sure such abuses do not happen, and the laws to prevent fraudulent signatures on mail-in ballots are notoriously lax.

Practically, there is little difference between Republican operatives in North Carolina making sure Democratic votes are never mailed and Democratic operatives in California excluding Republican votes from the “service” they claim to provide to the electorate.

As Government Accountability Institute (GAI) director Eric Eggers told Breitbart News Tonight last week, “ballot harvesting” in California opens the door to all kinds of abuses: “The political campaigns now have free license to go find you, and essentially even if they don’t find you, just turn in a ballot in your name.”

The only difference is that California legalized this form of fraud — and did so on a party-line vote, in a state where Republicans are powerless to reject anything Democrats pass.

Republicans were also caught flat-footed by the new “ballot harvesting” law because they think of voting as a sacred individual responsibility.

That is why Republicans in North Carolina are now joining Democrats in calling for a fair investigation of what happened in the 9th congressional district.

But for Democrats, fairness is a one-way street. They are defending “ballot harvesting” in California as zealously as they are denouncing it in North Carolina — even though, according to Breitbart News’ Michael Patrick Leahy, they do it in North Carolina as well.

As for the old-fashioned idea of voters showing up in person at the polls with ID — that, to Democrats, is “racist.”

Anti-globalist yellow vests movement ‘conquers’ Europe and spreads to fifth country

The yellow vests movement has spread to its fifth country, Sweden. Starting in France on 17 November, protests of the anti-globalist movement have been seen in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

Now yellow vest demonstrations against the UN Migration Agreement have been announced in Sweden on Saturday and Sunday.

Last Sunday around 1,000 Swedes gathered outside Parliament in Stockholm to demonstrate against Sweden’s signing of the UN Migration Agreement. This weekend, even larger events with more speakers will be held in the same place.

Migration to Sweden is in focus because the whole of society is adversely affected when hundreds of thousands of migrants from the third world are brought into such a small country. However, in the future, other issues may also be addressed.

“The citizens have been informed that the led migration policy is a profit, which it is not”, says one of the speakers, independent journalist and writer Katerina Janouch.

“The issue of Sweden’s signing of the UN Migration Framework is too important to be hidden away. The signing is done behind the people’s backs.”

“There should be a referendum about this. We should not let a reality denying, high-on-power elite decide. It is becoming increasingly apparent that those who govern Sweden, whoever they are, don’t have what’s best for the Swedes in mind.”, she continues.

The Swedish resistance movement is inspired by the French, but not a copy of it. The Swedes focus on the issues considered most important for Sweden, while the French focus on their issues.

Another difference is that the Swedes have chosen events with speakers instead of street marches as protest form

Participants have been asked to wear yellow vests and a lot of those are likely to be seen in Sweden this weekend. Protests will also be held in Gothenburg, Malmö and several other cities.

As the yellow vests movement is spreading through Europe protests have been announced in Brussels (Belgium), Amsterdam and Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Stockholm (Sweden), Paris and several German cities.

Most protests are peaceful, but as usual the escalations receive the most mainstream media coverage. Last week protests in Paris and Brussels completely escalated as some violent groups used the protests to attack people and destroy public property.

In the Netherlands the protests were peaceful last week and it is expected that they will be peaceful again.

If you are joining one of the protests, make your voice heard, stay safe and protest peaceful. It’s the best way to make a statement and not become demonised as a group by mainstream media.

IDF Trained Personnel In Europe Preparing For Operation Against ‘Hezbollah Tunnels’

srael’s Defense Forces sent 11 Engineering Corps services members to be trained in Europe in preparation of Operation Northern Shield, Haaretz reported.

The outlet reported that the services members were trained and learned from excavation experts about working in rough terrain and with similar rock types as the ones in which Hezbollah dug its tunnels from Lebanon into Israel.

According to the report, the IDF realized it would need to counter Hezbollah’s tunnel project as early as 2015. A team of engineers, intelligence officers and technology experts deemed it necessary to prepare a plan to deal with the tunnels at a later date.

In 2017, it was decided to send 11 members of the corps to Europe for special training to learn about hard-rock excavations.

“We realized we had to train people to excavate,” an anonymous senior IDF officer, who is deeply involved in the operation said prior to the beginning of Northern Shield. “We encountered such tunnels in the Second Lebanon War. We called them ‘nature reserves,’ which served as underground command centers.”

The trip to Europe allegedly allowed the engineering team to learn from the best experts in the world in the field.

“We trained in terrain we weren’t accustomed to, working in hard earth and rocky terrain and in tough areas, in order to learn about excavating,” the officer said.

The IDF reportedly understood that excavating along the northern border would require a different approach than it required near Gaza.

“In contrast to the south, where bucket auger drills remove sand easily and quickly, in the north the army uses diamond drills, which cut through the rock more slowly and make for slow progress.”

At some excavation sites in the north even civilians take part in the drilling, according to Haaretz. Other sites only include members of the Engineering Corps, some of them were part of the team that was trained in Europe.

“We’re preparing the IDF and the corps for all challenges, using professionals we hope will remain in the army for many years,” said the officer.

Reportedly, not many people knew of the existence of Hezbollah tunnels and knowledge of them was kept secret. The people involved in the operation were made to believe that they were participating in routine training.

Finland: Crackdown on Criminal Migrants After Children Gang Raped

Finland is set to speed up the deportation of criminal aliens after it emerged a 10-year-old girl was repeatedly raped and abused by migrant predators.

Commenting on the “shocking inhumanity” of the cases, President Sauli Niinistö said the country must “show strength” in punishing the rapists in order to “stigmatise the evil” of their actions so that Finland “can continue to have a just, safe society”.

Authorities in Oulu, a city and municipality in north-west Finland with just over 200,000 residents, on Wednesday announced that a total of 10 suspects had been arrested in connection with sexual abuse and violence carried out against three children under the age of 15 in the region.

All of the men taken into custody either entered the country as asylum seekers or were welcomed to Finland under refugee quota schemes, according to a press release from the Oulu Police Department.

Eight of the ten men — one of whom is still at large — have been accused of repeatedly raping a 10-year-old girl in their apartments over a period of several months, and of subjecting the child to beatings and violence after she was groomed on social media.

Police have subsequently advised parents and children to be on the lookout for migrant predators on the internet, with commissioner Markus Kiiskinen telling local media, “For young people, meeting a foreign-heritage man can happen spontaneously, for example during a party.

“Someone could offer them something ‘nice’, like tobacco or alcohol, which can start a nasty chain of events.”

Kai Mykkänen, the Minister of the Interior, recommended the country crack down on migrants accused of serious crimes after it emerged that a number of the suspects had been granted citizenship.

EXCLUSIVE PHOTO: Mexico Captures Cartel Boss Behind Border State Violence

MONTERREY, Nuevo Leon – Mexican authorities arrested a top cartel operator who is linked to the escalation of violence in this border state. The arrest took place in the southeastern state of Yucatan, not far from numerous popular tourist resort towns.

Known in the criminal underworld as Chelelo, Eleazar Medina Rojas is the target of an intelligence operation led by Nuevo Leon’s State Investigation Agency. Investigators tracked him in relation to the recent escalation of violence in the region.

Nuevo Leon investigators worked with Mexican federal authorities to capture Medina Rojas in the peaceful resort town of Merida, Yucatan.

As Breitbart News reported, Medina Rojas was a member of Los Zetas cartel from a time when the criminal organization was the armed wing of the Gulf Cartel but has since switched. After his capture in January 2016, in connection with the seizure of several weapons and a kilogram of cocaine, officials sent Medina to the Puente Grande prison in Jalisco where he was expected to serve several years.

Instead, he was mysteriously released in June. Intelligence sources revealed to Breitbart News that Medina Rojas established an alliance with Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) and eventually switched over.

The sudden release came as another slight to U.S. law enforcement since Medina is a fugitive wanted by the Drug Enforcement Administration. He is also named as a co-conspirator in a criminal indictment with infamous bosses Osiel Cardenas Guillen and Miguel Angel “Z40” Trevino Morales.

In recent years, CJNG became one of the top organizations in Mexico by forcefully taking territories once held by the Sinaloa Cartel. Nuevo Leon authorities identified Medina Rojas and his followers as being responsible for a recent escalation in violence in the region. The violence increased as the criminal organization works to establish a corridor from the Monterrey metropolitan area to the border city of Nuevo Laredo.

UNGA Adopts Resolution Calling for End to Israel’s Occupation of Palestine

The UN General Assembly voted in favor of a resolution calling to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, current President of the UN General Assembly Maria Espinosa said in a statement.

"The result of the vote is as follows: 156 in favor, six against, 12 abstentions," Espinosa said on Thursday. "The draft resolution is adopted."

The Comprehensive, Just and Lasting Peace in the Middle East resolution sponsored by Ireland urges to end the occupation of Palestinian territories by the state of Israel and reaffirms its support for the two-state solution.

The United States and Israel voted against the resolution in addition to Australia, Liberia, Marshall Islands, and Nauru.

The adoption of the resolution came after UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres last week urged Israel and Palestine to peacefully resolve their conflict by supporting the two-state solution plan that envisages an independent State of Palestine alongside the State of Israel, west of the Jordan River.

For decades, Palestine has been in conflict with the Israeli government. In November, at least 40 Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israel troops near the Gaza Strip border. Since 1967, Israel has been occupying Palestinian territories of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, and refuses to recognize Palestine as an independent political and diplomatic state.

Comey NOT Cooperating with GOP Lawmakers, Refuses to Answer Questions in Closed-Door Interview

Fired FBI Director James Comey arrived on Capitol Hill Friday for a closed-door, transcribed interview with House Republicans.

Comey is testifying on Capitol Hill as part of joint investigation with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee into the handling of the Clinton email investigation and his involvement in FISAGate.

GOP lawmakers recently discovered an email chain dated early October of 2016 involving James Comey which is the most damning evidence of FISA abuses yet. Lawmakers wanted to grill Comey about this classified document in Friday’s interview.

The former FBI Director fought the House subpoena; he wanted to testify in a public domain to avoid answering questions.

Comey’s lawyer sparred with general counsel for the House of Representatives last Friday and urged a judge to block a subpoena requiring him to give a closed-door deposition. Comey caved because he didn’t want to be held in contempt.

On Friday, Comey continued to fight like hell. He’s not cooperating with GOP lawmakers and refusing to answer certain questions.

FOX News Catherine Herridge reported that a DOJ attorney is telling Comey not to answer questions. They may have to call Comey back in for more questioning.

Judge Orders Clinton Email Handling Evidence to Be Disclosed

A federal judge ordered the U.S. State Department to disclose possible evidence whether Hillary Clinton used her private email while she was secretary of state to intentionally flout public information requests for government documents.

U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth in Washington on Thursday directed the State Department to work up a plan to provide relevant records to Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group that sued for emails related to the attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi.

Priest charged with sexually abusing Filipino boys

CINCINNATI – An American priest from Cincinnati has been charged by a federal criminal complaint for allegedly sexually abusing minor boys. The charges follow an international investigation that spanned two continents by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and authorities in the Philippines.

Kenneth B. Hendricks, 77, of Cincinnati, was arrested by Manila-based HSI special agents alongside Filipino authorities Tuesday evening in the Philippines, where he currently serves as a missionary priest.

Benjamin C. Glassman, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, and Steve Francis, Special Agent in Charge, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), announced the charges.

The government unsealed the criminal complaint today. According to that document and its supporting affidavit, on November 13, HSI received information regarding alleged sexual exploitation of multiple minor Filipino boys.

Information indicated that a Catholic priest – later identified as Father Hendricks – had been sexually assaulting the boys. Subsequently, several victims have been identified and provided statements to law enforcement.

For example, one victim said he had been sexually abused by the local parish priest since 2009, when the boy was approximately 12 years old. Another victim stated he was sexually abused by Hendricks beginning when the victim was seven years old.

One victim said he and Hendricks engaged in anal sex at least a dozen times and oral sex more than 30 times. Further, Hendricks allegedly inserted a hose and his fingers into the boy’s anus.

Another victim said he masturbated Hendricks’s penis approximately 40 times and that Hendricks did the same to the boy at least 60 times.

Victims said Hendricks began by kissing them and the contact escalated to touching their penises, oral and anal sex.

Hendricks allegedly had a number of minor boys residing with him. It is alleged he insisted they take baths together, and would molest the victims alone or with other boys. The priest allegedly warned the victims that if they told anyone they would all go to prison.

In a recorded conversation with one of the victims, Hendrick stated: “This will probably be the scenario is, there will be a meeting and then it will be decided, you know, what your parents want to do about anything. Do they want to try…want to press charges, uh, whatever see, but that’s between them and the Bishop, I have nothing to do with that. I just get the fallout afterwards.”

In the same conversation, Hendricks said: “they will decide, ask you what your decision is, what you’re going to do, whether there will be a case or not or whether, you know, a settlement, I don’t know. But as far as after that, I don’t know what’s going to happen. I really will have to probably really resign, retire now.”

Hendricks is charged as a United States citizen with engaging in illicit sexual conduct in foreign places, which is a federal crime punishable by up to 30 years in prison.

U.S. Attorney Glassman commended the investigation of this case by HSI and the Assistance of the Philippines National Police, as well as Assistant United States Attorneys Christy L. Muncy and Timothy D. Oakley, who are prosecuting the case.

A criminal complaint merely contains allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

New Broward County Elections Supervisor Peter Antonacci Sworn In

A new supervisor of elections was sworn in this week in Broward County, Florida, one of the most scrutinized counties across the nation during the recent midterm elections.

Florida’s counties conducted two recounts for tight races. Broward repeatedly bungled the recounts, mixing in illegal votes with legal ones, refusing to follow the law and provide regular updates on vote counts, missing a key deadline by two minutes, thus invalidating the first recount, and ending the second recount with 2,000 votes missing.

Gov. Rick Scott suspended Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes, citing the raft of issues during November.

“Every eligible voter in Florida deserves their vote to be counted and should have confidence in Florida’s elections process,” Scott said in a statement.

“After a series of inexcusable actions, it’s clear that there needs to be an immediate change in Broward County and taxpayers should no longer be burdened by paying a salary for a supervisor of elections who has already announced resignation.”
