It's my understanding, at this point, that Saturn is represented as the corrective end of the spectrum which Jupiter balances through the use of Venus, which brings light to darkness.

The theory appears to evolve to Venus's light bringer being tainted by Saturn's Satan, which provokes the exposition of light.
