There's a guy I follow on twatter that's convinced Q is AI. As a codefag myself, someone that follows developments in this arena, I'm doubtful. It's not to this level yet - to my knowledge no AI system has ever passed a Turing test, but that doesn't mean there aren't AI aspects in play.
