it does seem very odd that there would be open talk (this early) of replacing Pence on the 2020 ticket.

when was the last time a two-term president did NOT keep the same VP? I can't remember any recently… FDR had John Garner for his first two terms, then switched to Henry Wallace. Not sure what the reason for that move was though.

let's just keep in mind that studying at a Jesuit high school or college does not make a person a Jesuit.

Becoming a Jesuit requires taking an oath to become a 'brother' or a full-fledged priest in the Society of Jesus.

Plenty of people graduate from Gonzaga, Loyola Marymount, Georgetown, and other Jesuit universities who are in no way Jesuits, allies or Jesuits, or even Roman Catholics for that matter.

Hypothetically speaking, if POTUS decided Pence were a threat, how would he get him out of office?

I assume Pence would have to be impeached, but I could be wrong. It's not like he could simply be fired like he were a regular White House employee (and even that might not be very simple in some cases).

an impeachment case would require evidence of treason, bribery, or other high crimes/misdemeanors. I've not seen any evidence that Pence is guilty of the first two. The third is open to interpretation.
