One Of Largest Child Pornography Bust - Light Sentence At Adult Diagnostic & Treatment Center

Anthony White, from Ocean County, who was found with over 36,000 videos and images of child pornography on his computer devices was sentenced to six years in state prison.

White, 31, was one of 40 men who was arrested in 2016 during a child pornography sweep by the New Jersey Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

White pleaded guilty to second-degree charges of distributing child pornography and attempting to manufacture child pornography.

“We are working hard through our proactive online investigations to banish the offensive notion that viewing child pornography is somehow a victimless crime,” said New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal. “Tens of thousands of children were cruelly abused to create the videos and images in White’s collection, and he exploited and re-victimized those children by his actions.”

White admitted to purposefully using file-sharing software to make 25 or more files of child pornography available to other users to download from a shared folder on his computer.

White also admitted trying to reproduce images of child pornography he had previously downloaded.

Members of the task force who search White’s home, after his arrest, seized a number of computer devices.

A forensic search revealed over 36,000 videos and images of child pornography.

White’s sick collection was one of the largest of child pornography ever seized by law enforcement in New Jersey.

Under Megan’s Law, he will be required to register as a sex offender and will be subject to parole supervision for the remainder of his life.

Depending on how they house these types of criminals, may determine how long their lifespans are. Prisoners have a code of their own and the two things they have no respect for are rapist and child offenders, who typically face a wrath, if not placed in protective custody.

High-Ranking Military Commander Busted in FBI Child Sex Trafficking Sting

Cobb County, GA — Earlier this week, the FBI Metro Atlanta Child Exploitation Task Force held a sting to catch alleged sex traffickers and made multiple arrests in the process. During the sting, a high-ranking Air Force Colonel was ensnared by federal agents.

The undercover sex bust unfolded Tuesday night at a Cobb County hotel at which Lt. Col. Willie Newson, 47, was arrested. According to authorities, Newson thought he was meeting a 14-year-old girl at the hotel. He was actually meeting undercover agents pretending to be a child.

Georgia Department of Defense spokeswoman Desiree Bamba told AJC.com that Newson is on the command staff of Maj. Gen. Jesse T. Simmons Jr., who is the commander of the Georgia Air National Guard. Newson also was formerly the commander of the 165th Communication Flight of the 165th Airlift Wing, according to the official.

“Lt. Col. Newson’s alleged actions do not reflect the values we uphold in the Georgia National Guard,” she said.

As WSB-TV reports, the “undercover officer that Newson spoke with gave him the opportunity to stop communicating several times.” However, Newson continued to pursue who he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

The Air Force Colonel was using a popular dating app to pursue the child.

On Tuesday, Newson was arrested on multiple charges stemming from the child exploitation charges. After he was taken into custody, he immediately bailed himself out for $20,000.

He is currently on leave pending the outcome of the case.

“It’s upsetting to the safety of our kids, the safety of this community as a whole,” Mark Samuels, who manages the hotel where the bust took place.

US Analysts: Russian Electronic Warfare Systems Deployed In Syria Allow Assad To Carry Out Chemical Attacks

In April 2018, the head of Russian Special Operations Command, Gen. Raymond Thomas, complainted that the Russians are using their electronic warfare (EW) capabilities in Syria in order to deter actions of the US-led coalition there.

“Right now in Syria we are operating in the most aggressive EW environment on the planet from our adversaries. They are testing us everyday, knocking our communications down, disabling our EC-130s, etcetera,”he started ignoring the fact that the US-led coalition had illegally invaded the country while the Russians are in Syria upon request from its legal government.

On November 30, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) a US-based think tank affilated with large defense contractors, released a fresh report, which also complains about the Russian decision to expand its EW capabilities in Syria and repeats remarks that it has a negative impact on the situation in the country.

Krasukha-4: Russia deployed the Krasukha-4 to Hmeimim Airbase by October 2015.[23] The system is capable of suppressing satellite navigation, communication networks, airborne early-warning systems, and ground-based radars at ranges up to three hundred kilometers.[24] Russia reportedly deployed a second Krasukha-4 to Syria in September 2018.[25] This system is likely positioned at the T4 (Tiyas) Airbase in Central Syria alongside the new battalion of S-300s.

Leer-3: Russia reportedly deployed the Leer-3 (RB-341V) to Syria prior to March 2016.[26] The Leer-3 uses unmanned aerial vehicles to jam mobile devices such as cell phones and computer tablets within a one hundred kilometer radius. [27] It can also provide firing coordinates for the location of these devices for artillery and airstrikes. Russia may have used this system to disrupt the operations of opposition groups ahead of pro-regime military operations.[28] Russia likely also used the system to identify and target opposition-linked facilities such as hospitals.[29]

US seeks to frustrate OPCW probe into Aleppo chemical attack — Russian Defense Ministry

The Russian Defense Ministry said that Russia has conclusive evidence proving that militants used munitions with toxic agents against civilians in Aleppo on November 24, 2018

MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. The United States seeks to disrupt the investigation into the chemical attack by terrorists in Syria’s Aleppo on November 24 and the US State Department’s allegations that this incident was staged obviously pursue this goal, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.

"The Russian Defense Ministry interprets the US State Department’s hysterical statement alleging that the November 24 chemical attack by terrorists in Aleppo was allegedly staged, as an attempt to exert pressure on the OPCW [Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons] in order to hinder an unbiased investigation," the ministry said.

The ministry noted that for more than six months it has been informing the world community about supplies of toxic agents to terrorists and the White Helmets in Syria from Western special services. "Each time, the peaks of such supplies were synchronized with ungrounded statements by the US Department of State and other American agencies on their preparedness for a knockdown missile blow on Syria in case of another alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government," the ministry said.

The ministry recalled that it was the Syrian government that requested urgent deployment of OPCW experts to Aleppo immediately after the November 24 incident. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the United States’ statement is obviously geared "toward vindicating international terrorists operating in Idlib linked with pseudo-rescuers from the White Helmets who have backstabbed their Western patrons with their provocation."

‘Doctors Without Borders’ Permanently Cancels Migrant Ferry Operations

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) have announced after months of setbacks that they will be permanently cancelling their migrant ferry activities in the Mediterranean sea.

The NGO announced the cancellation of their so-called “rescue” operations on Thursday, saying that due to government pressure they could not continue to operate the Aquarius vessel off the coast of Libya.

“This is the result of a sustained campaign, spearheaded by the Italian government and backed by other European states, to delegitimise, slander and obstruct aid organisations providing assistance to vulnerable people,” the group claimed.

MSF’s general director Nelke Manders called the cancellation a “dark day” and said, “Not only has Europe failed to provide search and rescue capacity, it has also actively sabotaged others’ attempts to save lives. The end of Aquarius means more deaths at sea, and more needless deaths that will go unwitnessed.”

However, analysis by the EU Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) suggests the presence of ships like the Aquarius “help[s] criminals achieve their objectives at minimum cost, [and] strengthen their business model by increasing [migrants’] chances of success” in reaching Europe — all of which ultimately encourages more people to attempt sea crossings, which means more drownings.

Critics of the NGO ferries also point to the fact they always bring migrants to European ports rather than much nearer African ports, and suggest “rescue” is not their main priority.

In total, the Aquarius has picked up close to 30,000 migrants in the Mediterranean since February of 2016, but the ship had been plagued by problems in recent months, losing its right to first fly the flag of Gibraltar and then the flag of Panama, forcing it to remain in port in the French city of Marseille.

Populist Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini reacted to the cancellation of operations saying, “fewer departures, fewer landings, fewer deaths. That’s good.”

Since becoming Interior Minister earlier this year, Salvini vowed to shut down the migrant ferry operations that some have described as “taxis” for illegal migration, with Italian prosecutors alleging they co-ordinate with people-smugglers.

Salvini first closed Italian ports to migrant rescue NGOs and as a result, new reports show that he has contributed toward the number of migrants coming to Italy decreasing by 80 percent in the last two years.

The new numbers reveal that Italy has gone from seeing the newest arrivals in 2016, ahead of Spain and Greece, to now being in third place behind them.

The EU is in a “weak and vulnerable state” according to European affairs expert

Speaking to British newspaper the Express, Ian Kerns speculated that a financial crisis “would be enough to destroy the single currency.”

“Does that happen in the next six months? Does it happen three years from now? Five years from now?”, asks the European affairs expert.

“I don’t know but my analysis would be, if the European Union is in its current state, and its arrangements for managing the Eurozone are in their current state and the financial crisis happens, the single currency wouldn’t survive it.”

In its October report, the IMF warned of “large challenges” on the horizon “to prevent a second Great Depression”.

With global debt sitting at greater levels than those in the lead-up to the 2008 crisis, and discontent among member states growing, the EU expert warned of the Union’s vulnerability:

“My view is that the vulnerability is such that it just leaves the European Union kind of as a sitting duck.

“It’s just there, exposed, hoping that things stay calm, hoping that it doesn’t have to face any major external crisis or an internal crisis triggered, for example, by the dispute with the Italian Government and the Commission.

“From my point of view, I don’t know when the final moments come but one can say it’s in a very vulnerable position, vulnerable to negative events and we’re living in a time when there’s a lot of volatility and it’s all too easy and too plausible to imagine events which would be the trigger for the European Union to collapse.”

Corbyn Slams ‘Neoliberal’ EU, Claims Labour Will ‘Respect’ Brexit

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has risked causing ructions within his party by slamming the European Union (EU) for its “failed neoliberal policies”.

The 69-year-old socialist was a lifelong Brexiteer before he was elected Labour leader — much to the chagrin of his largely “centrist” parliamentary colleagues — voting in favour of leaving the European Economic Community (EEC) in the 1970s, against the Maastricht Treaty which transformed the European Community into the EU in the 1990s, and against the Lisbon Treaty which handed the nascent supra-state sweeping new powers.

He officially campaigned for a Remain vote in the 2016 referendum on Britain’s membership of the EU, but parliamentary colleagues and party grandees complained he had done so without much enthusiasm in the wake of the Leave vote, and even accused his inner circle of actively sabotaging their efforts from within.

His recent comments to the Congress of the Party of European Socialists in Portugal will have done little to dispell that notion, as he slammed the bloc for its “failed neoliberal policies [which] have caused serious hardship for working people across Europe, damaged the credibility of European social democratic parties, and played a significant role in the vote for Brexit.”

Mexican Border State Prison Guards Killed After Hanging of Cartel Boss

CIUDAD VICTORIA, Tamaulipas – Mexican authorities are investigating the recent murder of three prison guards who worked at the same facility where guards found a top-ranking cartel boss hanging in his cell.

As Breitbart News reported, this week, authorities found the body of Juan Alfonso “El Gafe or Chucho” Vasquez Canto hanging inside a cell at the state prison in this city. The man known as El Gafe was a leading member of the Northeast Cartel whose name was linked to numerous executions.

While authorities have not publicly revealed if the death was a murder or a suicide, Vasquez’ murder came just days after as Breitbart News reported, suspected members of his cartel murdered Luis “El Rex or Z-12” Reyes Enriquez inside a prison in the border city of Nuevo Laredo. After that murder, the gunmen stole Reyes’ body, dismembered it and then spread body parts and cartel banners on three prisons in a neighboring state. Reyes’ head was left along with a threatening banner outside of the same prison where Vasquez was hung.

Soon after Vasquez’s hanging, a team of gunmen stormed a public bus outside of the prison and shot two prison guards as they were leaving work.

Liam Fox's PPS Mike Wood said he would quit and bring other whips and junior ministers with him if his concerns about the hated backstop, the Guardian revealed this afternoon.

He said: "I have some big issues with the backstop. If some of those aren’t addressed then I don’t think I will be able to support it…

"Clearly the ministerial code says that if I can’t support, I would have to resign. I am very much hoping that there are enough changes and reassurances by Tuesday for me to vote with the government."

He said many other junior ministers would also be considering their options over the weekend.

Chief Whip Julian Smith is relying on the more than 100 MPs who are on the Government payroll to back the deal.

Israel Signs Pipe Deal to Rival Russia as Gas Supplier to Europe

Following two years of negotiations, Israel has signed an agreement with Italy, Greece, and Cyprus to lay the longest gas pipeline in history, Israel’s Channel 2 reported Saturday night.

The pipeline will traverse a distance of 1,242 miles and lie at a depth of between 1.8-to-3 miles. It will provide gas to Europe from Israel’s offshore fields

The EastMed Pipeline Project is projected to begin in a few months’ time, starting about 170 km off Cyprus’ southern coast and reaching Otranto, Italy via Crete and the Greek mainland.

Up to 20 billion cubic meters of gas is expected to flow to Europe annually, thereby diversifying its supply of this energy source, which is now heavily dependent on Russia.

In 2014 Moscow threatened to cut natural gas deliveries over a dispute with the Ukraine, and actually did stop the flow temporarily in 2009.

The pipeline could be more than a direct boost to Israel’s economy, Minister of National Infrastructure, Energy, and Water Resources Yuval Steinitz told Hadashot TV.
