Gardenerfag here. You're right fewer & fewer bees, birds squirrels, butterflies..I think pesticides over the years take giant toll. Lived near MI base with canned gas testing, no critters to speak of..Now around farmland & some are planting fields of sunflowers just to populate the bee #s
