If you read the entire exchange, you would see that he wasn’t actually asking Comey about SR and PG, but rather asking him if he investigated any of the individuals who propagated that information, which he refers to as “conspiratorial stories”.

It’s obvious that he’s trying to work the angles that:

a) Both issues are nothing but spurious conspiracy theories, and

b) could the genesis of these “stories” be a conspiracy itself perpetrated by Trump and muh Russia?

Anons need to read carefully and completely. This guy was by no means going to bat for us, he was just try to further delegitimize the subjects.
