Because GTMO is the place designated for enemy combatants to be detained and undergo trial and disposition. It's in Cuba so outside the normal jurisdiction of domestic laws and policy. Plus, enemies to our people and liberty and constitution don't deserve to breathe American air. No business in even an American prison. Let them rot in a shithole.
