DELINGPOLE: No to Marrakesh! – The UN’s Sinister Blueprint for Globalist Migration Hell

 

“Marrakech C’est Non!” says one of the banners wielded by the Gilets Jaunes at the protests in Paris this weekend: “No to Marrakesh!”

 

This refers, of course, to the United Nations conference in Marrakesh, Morocco later this week; the one where the world’s nations are being asked to sign away their sovereignty, their freedoms and their identity in one of the most pernicious agreements ever devised by the UN: the justly infamous UN Global Compact for Migration.

 

Lots of countries have already announced that they are not going to sign, among them the U.S., Hungary, Poland, Austria, Italy, Israel, Bulgaria, and Australia.

 

There’s a clue as to how toxic this compact is: when even a country as emasculated and politically correct as Australia finds it too much to swallow.

 

But perhaps a bigger clue as to its toe-curling, achingly right-on, surrender-monkey awfulness is offered by the countries which are planning on signing up to it. These include Leo Varadkar’s Ireland and Justin “President Bieber” Trudeau’s Canada: arguably the two Western nations you’d least want to be living in right now because they are currently in the hands of politically correct bedwetters bent on destroying every last vestige of their national identity and replacing it with some kind of squishy, globalist melting pot where people of all colours and creeds hold hands under a rainbow.

 

Another country which is planning on signing it is the United Kingdom. Which is bizarre to the point of incomprehensibility when you discover what this UN Global Compact on Migration entails.

 

Essentially it’s a globalist masterplan for making migration easier. Much, much easier.

 

Not the kind of migration that you or I might approve of: say, eager computing graduates from the universities of Cluj Napoca coming to bolster our tech economy with their Python programming skills; me spending a few years in Singapore/Costa Rica/Switzerland/the U.S. or wherever in order to ride out the coming Corbyn terror; kids like my eldest boy moving to the low tax, entrepreneur-friendly environs of Hong Kong to make their fortune; win-win situations which work to the advantage both of the migrant and the host nation…

 

I mean the kind of migration most of us dread: the one where hordes of mostly unskilled, sometimes criminally deviant males of fighting age descend on our civilised home nations from their considerably less civilised countries — at best to overburden our infrastructure and exploit our overgenerous welfare systems, at worst to destroy us from within.

 

It’s happening right now across the West: the stone-throwing, wall-scaling, MS-13 tattooed migrant caravans swarming towards the United States’ southern border; the gangs of sullen youths who’ve turned St Denis — the cathedral where most of France’s kings are buried — into a cross between Lagos and Mogadishu; the Muslim ghetto kids who’ve helped Malmo in Sweden become the rape and grenade-attack capital of Europe; the hassly Africans who dog your every step through the tourist sites and beaches of Italy, importuning you to buy stuff you don’t want; the millions of migrants Angela Merkel invited into Germany, now adding impressively to the country’s rape and murder statistics…

 

You’ll never guess what the United Nations’ solution to this problem is. Actually, knowing the UN as we all do, you probably will.

 

Yep: the UN’s solution is to make it illegal to talk about this problem.

  1. We commit to eliminate all forms of discrimination, condemn and counter expressions, acts and

manifestations of racism, racial discrimination, violence, xenophobia and related intolerance

against all migrants in conformity with international human rights law. We further commit to

promote an open and evidence-based public discourse on migration and migrants in partnership

with all parts of society, that generates a more realistic, humane and constructive perception in

this regard. We also commit to protect freedom of expression in accordance with international

law, recognizing that an open and free debate contributes to a comprehensive understanding

The excuse being bandied about by defenders of this outrageous document is that it is not legally binding. No, indeed. But that’s the excuse that believers in one-world government always use to mask their sinister scheming. It was the same with the UN’s Agenda 21 all those years ago at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit. People signed up to it because it supposedly wasn’t binding. But it very quickly became an excuse for all manner of green lobbyists and politicians and left-leaning pressure groups and local governments to force through policies as if it were binding.

50 percent of Kenyans say they would move to another country (and they don’t mean Somalia or Zimbabwe, by the way) if they could.

 

12 Germans have to work in order to pay the costs of every one of the two or three million migrants Angela Merkel invited into the country.

 

In 2017 the Swedish government spent $18.6 billion paying for refugees – 19 percent of its annual budget.

 

Why would any country on earth sign up to a deal so very obviously against the interests of its nationals?

 

It’s very simple: the globalist political elite doesn’t respect nation-states, nor does it give a damn about the views of ordinary people. Indeed, it despises them so much that it would much rather make their views illegal than listen to what they have to say.

 

That’s why the Gilets Jaunes are setting France ablaze; that’s why thousands of protestors are out on the streets of London following Tommy Robinson and the #BrexitBetrayalMarch; that’s why they elected Matteo Salvini in Italy, Viktor Orban in Hungary, Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil; that why Donald Trump is president of the USA.

Report: Jay-Z’s College Student Scholarship ‘Barely Enough to Cover Books’

 

According to a review of its expenditures, rapper Jay-Z’s college scholarship fund does not seem to be doing much good for the few students who receive its grants.

 

The singer’s Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund gave out what might seem like an impressive $407,250 in grants last year. However, it appears that individual students did not find the grants very helpful, according to the New York Post.

 

Individual students only got between $1,000 to $2,500 each, “barely enough to cover books,” the paper wrote.

 

The money reportedly went right to the colleges, not to the students, with $32,000 going to Virginia State University for an undisclosed number of students.

 

The fund, administered by the singer’s mother, Gloria Carter, took in $742,118 in 2018, most of which came from Jay-Z himself.

 

The charity claims it tries to help needy students, but it also charges the students $200 each to participate in the program and only 32 students signed up last year.

 

It also appears that large amounts of the fund’s money go to cover special events. For instance, the fund spent $44,581 to pay for a bus tour of traditionally black colleges last year. And its annual toy giveaway at Marcy Houses in Brooklyn cost $8,452.

 

The Shawn Carter fund was not the only spending the “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” singer put toward education. With 2018 earnings estimated at $76.5 million, Jay-Z and his pop star wife, Beyonce, dolled out ten scholarships of $100,000 each this year, the cash going for the 2019 school season.

Pollak: Robert Mueller, Media, Democrats Ignore Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Finance Violations

 

If we are to treat campaign finance reporting violations as grave offenses, the first person in the dock ought to be Hillary Clinton — not Donald Trump.

 

Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s sentencing memorandum for Michael Cohen on Friday repeated claims that Cohen violated campaign finance rules at the direction of then-candidate Donald Trump.

 

The media and their Greek chorus of Democrats are delighted, with incoming House Judiciary Chair Jerry Nadler (D-NY) calling the alleged crimes “impeachable offenses,” and incoming House Intelligence Chair Adam Schiff speculating about jail time.

 

It is not clear, however, that Trump broke the law.

 

First of all, the payment of “hush money” — the key issue — had a personal purpose quite separate from the campaign.

 

And as Alan Dershowitz noted when the claims first surfaced, “if Cohen was merely acting as a lawyer for Trump and advancing the payments, with an expectation of repayment, then it would be hard to find a campaign finance crime other than failure to report by the campaign.” He added: “Failure to report all campaign contributions is fairly common in political campaigns in the United States.”

 

Moreover, it is a matter of public record that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) paid Fusion GPS via an intermediary, the Perkins Coie law firm, to conduct opposition research on Trump — which became the dubious Russia “dossier,” which led to the FBI investigation of Trump’s aides.

 

Furthermore, the Clinton campaign and the DNC falsely reported their expenditures to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) as “legal services.” The amount of money was in the range of several millions of dollars — more than ten times the $280,000 that Trump is alleged to have paid to women claiming to be his mistresses.

 

As Kimberly Strassel of the Wall Street Journal noted in August:

 

The Clinton campaign paid Fusion GPS to compile a dossier against Mr. Trump, a document that became the basis of the Russia narrative Mr. Mueller now investigates. But the campaign funneled the money to law firm Perkins Coie, which in turn paid Fusion. The campaign falsely described the money as payment for “legal services.” The Democratic National Committee did the same.

 

Prosecutors can claim all they want that they are applying the law equally, but if they only apply it to half the suspects, justice is not served. Mr. Mueller seems blind to the national need for—the basic expectation of—a thorough look into all parties.

 

Mueller is not the only one who is blind. The media and the Democrats are deliberately creating a double standard for one reason: to oust Trump — for a likely non-crime, unrelated to Russia “collusion.”

James Comey Admits Steele Dossier Unverified Months After FISA Warrant Granted

 

The transcript of former FBI Director James Comey’s closed-door Friday interview with the House Judiciary Committee was released Saturday. An admission by the fired deep-stater appears to confirm a belief Republican investigators have held since President Donald Trump was elected to the White House: The FBI failed to adequately verify the anti-Trump dossier used to surveil Trump campaign members during the 2016 presidential election.

 

Comey told investigators that the anti-Trump dossier authored by longtime British intelligence agent Christopher Steele was largely unverified before and after a FISA warrant was obtained to surveil Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, according to a report.

 

The Hill’s John Solomon reports:

 

The towering ex-FBI boss confessed that the FBI had not corroborated much of the Steele dossier before it was submitted as evidence to a secret court to support a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in the final weeks of the election.

 

And Comey admitted much of the dossier remained uncorroborated more than six months later when he was fired by President Trump.

 

The former FBI director said the anti-Trump dossier “was coming to us from a reliable source with a track record, and it’s an important thing when you’re seeking a PC warrant,” concerning Steele.

 

“But what I understand by verified is we then try to replicate the source information so that it becomes FBI investigation and our conclusions rather than a reliable source’s,” he told Republicans. “That’s what I understand it, the difference to be. And that work wasn’t completed by the time I left in May of 2017, to my knowledge.”

 

Comey now has confirmed what Republican lawmakers like Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), Rep. Mark Meadows(R-N.C.), and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) have warned about for months – that the FBI used an unverified dossier, paid for by presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party as political opposition research, to justify spying on the duly nominated GOP candidate for president just weeks before Election Day.

 

The original FISA warrant application submitted in October 2016, along with the three 90-day renewal, were labeled “Verified application. “The FBI has reviewed this verified application for accuracy in accordance with its April 5, 2001 procedures, which include sending a copy of the draft to the appropriate field office(s),” the applications read.

 

Along with being unaware of the dossier’s veracity, Comey did not know that Bruce Ohr, the Justice Department’s fourth-highest ranking official before his demotion last year, was a go-between for collecting so-called intelligence from Steele after the FBI terminated its relationship with the agent for allegedly leaking information to the media. Further, Solomon reports that Comey could not recall that Steele’s relationship with the bureau had even been terminated.

 

“His memory was so bad I feared he might not remember how to get out of the room after the interview,” an unnamed congressman told Solomon. “It was like he suddenly developed dementia or Alzheimer’s, after conveniently remembering enough facts to sell his book,” said another.

Not only did Comey claim repeatedly he was unaware of key details concerning Steele and the dossier, but was “instructed” by his lawyers, including one who belonged to the Justice Department, to answer questions regarding the two hot button matters, along with FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information.

 

“One of the disappointments of this deposition so far has been the amount of times in which the FBI believes that Congress doesn’t have a right to know,” Rep. Darrell Issa told reporters, according to Fox News. “The Department of Justice is going to have to agree to allow him to come back and answer a great many questions that currently he is not answering.”

 

Friday’s closed-door sessions could be one of the last chances Republican investigators will have to grill Comey as part of their investigation into the FBI and Justice Department’s decision-making process during the 2016 election. Speaking to reporters Friday, incoming House Judiciary Committee chair Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) said he would shut down the probe, claiming its aim is to distract from special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

 

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) announced the joint probe into the Justice Department’s actions during the election. The committees have sought answers to why the FBI chose to go public with the Clinton email probe and further details surrounding her eventual exoneration.

Presidential Message on Hanukkah

 

December 2nd 2018

 

Melania and I send our warmest greetings to our Jewish brothers and sisters in the United States, in Israel, and around the world celebrating Hanukkah.

 

For eight nights, Jewish families and friends will come together to engage in the lighting of the menorah.  This special tradition started more than 2,000 years ago during the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, which followed a trying period when Jews were persecuted for practicing their faith.

 

Unfortunately, Jews today continue to face many different forms of violence, hatred, and bigotry around the globe.  We remember all those from the Tree of Life—Or L’Simcha Congregation—whose lives were tragically taken in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this past October.  As one Nation, we pledge our continued love and support for the victims, their families, and the community, and we pray that the victims’ families find some measure of peace and comfort during this holiday season.

 

Over the coming days, may the warming glow of each candle on the menorah help fill homes and hearts with love and happiness.  Together, we reaffirm the truth that light will always break through the darkness.  We send our very best wishes for a blessed and happy Hanukkah.
