The shadows look about right to me. Parallel lines will seem to converge the further away they get from observer. The fact that one line starts almost in the center of the frame while another starts to the right and further back is throwing you off. The shadow of the flag is visible behind the anon and isn't touching his shadow.
I'm not a fan of Jews by any stretch but maybe someone wants you to look into Jews first because they are hiding behind them.
