This is why you should run linux as your main os. I understand keeping windows for certain software….but dual boot. On seperate drives. And disconnect the windows drive when not in use.
Ubunti is great for newbies. If you want a windoze-esque, pretty GUI use cinnamon.

I don't have much free time but have plenty of storage space, bandwidth, way more optical media thab i know what to do with and enough mylar bags to make tin foils hats go out of style
