I came out of the closet today @ work
I never discuss politics there, but today was different. After winning over some business associates with a business presentation that I gave this morning, we (a group of 6 or so) were having lunch together in the conference room when the others started cracking jokes about Trump. I remained quiet until one of them said well apparently 39% agree with him. At that point something came over me, I stood up reached into my back pocket and pulled out this silver Trump coin and laid it in the middle of table. I said, “this oz of silver says you y’all won’t be laughing 30 days from now.” You could hear a pin drop as silence filled the room. After an uncomfortable pause, I said I’ll be back and stepped out to the rest room leaving the coin on the table. When I returned, the conversation had changed to something else and I put the coin back in my pocket and carried on like nothing had ever happened. I feel good about what I did. I just hope I don’t regret it 30 days from now.
