Gold/Diamonds would would be found in the craton areas (dark gray in first pic). Northern 1/3 would be rich in iron and iron-oxide deposits. Interior non-mountainous should be rich in organics.
Sorry, wrong about the gold. That would be found wherever oceanic plane forces sea water under Antartica and the water finds its way to the surface. The diamonds, however, are only formed at the base of cratons in the mantle where the pressures are high enough but the mantle rock keeps the temperature low enough for the diamonds to form. There should be lots of diamonds found anywhere there is volcanic activity up against or in a craton.
