In my home state Trump Support among Gen X and younger is strong as ever, the old guard though is starting to jump ship.

Still young enough to admit I dont know anything but old enough to have seen a few cycles in American Politics.

POTUS we are with you, yet even I can see the winds shifting.

GodSpeed Mr. President.

No not just boomers, still some golden gen left. Not concernfagging or divisionfagging.

They’ve just seen this before.

Change is that while before they touted many of the economic deciscions while privately complaining about decorum, now its just the latter rather than the former.

Playing it safe in case an impeachment at the house level is successful.

We’ll see…

Its not over yet.

The only part about that I disagree with is (you) I am not anywhere near rich enough to be a “real deal rebublican” or need to play it safe. Yet my state does have a nice population of conservative affluent types. I’ll be a vocal Trump supporter even if he resigned. If you want to go with muh projection, asking for a friend… etc. You do you.

Oh I think its fairly common for the older generations to lament the “lost” ways of what they see as something good that defined their gen, as it is for the younger gens to blame todays problems on the previous gens.

True?

I think personally both are correct and incorrect.

I stated what I stated about the shift among the old guard as it might be good thought for someone to consider.

Especially in the places that voted for Trump in the vast majority across the entire spectrum.

I wouldn’t turn back myself even if I could.

Bout one of the few redeeming qualities I have is loyalty. Holding on to that one… Kek
