Google CEO Sundar Pichai Can’t Explain Why Trump Tops Image Search for ‘Idiot’

Google CEO Sundar Pichai failed to explain why Google image searches for the term “idiot” return pictures of President Trump during a hearing today before the House Judiciary Committee.

During a hearing before the House Judiciary Committee, Google CEO Sundar Pichai was questioned by Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) about a specific Google search term. When the term “idiot” is searched on Google, the images section of the website returns pictures of President Trump, Lofgren asked Pichai to explain this, however the CEO seemed unable to do so.

“Now, manipulation of search results,” said Lofgren. “I think it’s important to talk about how search works. Right now, if you Google the word ‘idiot’ under images, a picture of Donald Trump comes up, I just did that. How would that happen? How does search work so that that would occur?”

Pichai replied: “We provide search today, any time you type in a keyword we — as Google — we crawl, we’ve gone out and crawled and stored billions of copies of billions of pages in our index and we take the keyword and match it against webpages and rank them based on our two hundred signals, things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it and based on that, at any given time we try to rank and find the best results for that query. And then we evaluate them with external raters to make sure — and they evaluate it to objective guidelines — and that’s how we make sure the process is working.”

Lofgren replied: “So it’s not some little man sitting behind the curtain figuring out what we’re going to show the users, basically a compilation of what users are generating and trying to sort through that information.” Pichai replied: “Last year we server over three trillion searches and just as a fact, every single day fifteen percent of the searches Google sees, we have never seen them before. So this is working at scale so we don’t manually intervene on any particular search result.”

This, however, does not actually answer Lofgren’s question about pictures of President Trump appearing alongside searches for the term “idiot.” Google has previously defended their search results relating to this particular term stating:

When users type queries into the Google Search bar, our goal is to make sure they receive the most relevant answers in a matter of seconds. Search is not used to set a political agenda and we don’t bias our results toward any political ideology. Every year, we issue hundreds of improvements to our algorithms to ensure they surface high-quality content in response to users’ queries. We continually work to improve Google Search and we never rank search results to manipulate political sentiment.

Lawmakers Call on May to Step Down as She Flies to Europe for Brexit Talks

British Prime Minister Theresa May was engaged in a last-ditch attempt to save her besieged Brexit deal Tuesday, meeting with Dutch leader Mark Rutte and Germany’s Angela Merkel after controversially deferring Tuesday’s planned vote in the UK House of Commons to prevent a near-certain defeat.

Theresa May’s latest trip to Europe came as European Union leaders rejected the possibility of any change to the agreement that Brexit leader Nigel Farage dismissed as the “worst deal in history“, and as British Members of Parliament clamoured for a fresh direction.

After the Prime Minister told the House Monday that Tuesday’s so-called meaningful vote was to be deferred — potentially into January 2019 — focus again turned to her future as leader of the Conservative Party.

Former minister Crispin Blunt outed himself overnight as having sent a letter of no confidence to the party committee which would manage a leadership competition, taking the number of publicly dissenting voices to 26. It is not known how many have actually been sent, as others may have been handed in secret, or others claimed to have sent letters that do not exist.

If the number of letters received by Sir Graham Brady, the chairman of the influential 1922 backbench committee, hits 48 a leadership race will begin.

Rebellious backbencher Blunt called upon other members of the Parliamentary Conservative party to act now, remarking: “I want to encourage those who are thinking about it — get it done”, reports The Times.

The paper also claims there are a “number of other Tory MPs” preparing to write their letters, but similar claims last month were unfounded as an attempted move against the Prime Minister led by Brexiteer Jacob Rees-Mogg and others failed to gain enough letters.

The immigrant-ferrying Aquarius and its nefarious connections to George Soros

Last Friday it became known that the infamous immigrant-trafficking ship, Aquarius, which became notorious this year for ferrying African immigrants to Europe on behalf of such troubled NGOs as Medécins sans Frontières and SOS Mediterranée, has finally been grounded.

This happened because of the constant political pressure of Matteo Salvini in Italy, and was finalised when Gibraltar and Panama rescinded their permission to fly their flags to sail.

Having said that, further details have come to light about how Aquarius was funded by George Soros and helped by socialist Spanish President Pedro Sanchez. The journalist Rubén Pulido, who regularly contributes to CasoAislado and OKdiario in Spain, explained it in a thread on Twitter.

It starts by highlighting that Soros finances the “NGO” SOS Mediterranée via The Oak Foundation, which curiously also funds IE University in Madrid, where Pedro Sanchez’s wife, Begoña Gomez, started working in August 2018, as Director of its “Africa Center”.

The explosion in illegal immigration since Sanchez took over the Presidency is well-documented, and has caused immigration across the Mediterranean to triple in 2018 compared to 2016. Much like Brexit, much like Trump’s rise, this has caused Immigration to become a defining factor in Spanish elections and the result is that the left has lost ground.

Whilst the leftist Sanchez continues to spend public money on illegal immigrants, such as the €25,000 he spent on the halal slaughter of sheep to feed them this summer, anti-immigration right wing populism shall continue to rise in Spain. Olé.

Macron Offers Minimum Wage Increase To Buy Off Yellow Vest Protesters

President Emmanuel Macron addressed the French nation Wednesday, promising a 100 euro a month increase in the minimum wage, tax-free overtime pay, and year-end bonuses following the Yellow Vest protests.

The French leader immediately denounced the violence of the Gilets Jaunes (Yellow Vests) at the beginning of his speech, saying “The events of recent weeks in France and overseas have deeply troubled the nation. They have mingled legitimate claims and an unacceptable level of violence,” Le Monde reports.

Macron went on to add that, “calm and the Republican Order must prevail” and noted that he understood the anger of the protesters in contrast to those committing violence who he described as having legitimate anger over and have “no hope” due to their financial situations where many are struggling to get by.

The first concrete proposal from the French leader was a 100 euro per month increase in the minimum inter-professional growth wage (SMIC) formally known as the guaranteed minimum wage, which will begin in the new year.

Next, Macron stated that there would be changes to the Generalized Social Contribution (CSG), a levy which is used to pay for social security, saying that he would cancel payment increases for retirees making less than 2,000 euros per month.

“I will ask all employers who can, to pay an end-of-year bonus to employees, which will be tax-free,” Macron added and went on to add that overtime work will not be subject to taxes or other charges starting in 2019.

Addressing the Yellow Vests directly Macron said, “I do not forget that there is anger, indignation, and many French people share it,” and took responsibility saying, “I was able to hurt some of you with my comments.”

After promising to work with businesses and mayors across the country in the coming weeks, Macron concluded his speech saying, “We will not resume the course of our lives without anything having changed. We are at a historic moment for our country. My only concern is you. My only fight is for you. Our only battle is for France.”

MI6 And GCHQ To ‘Assist’ Ukrainian Central Election Commission

On December 3rd, MI6 Chief Alex Younger spoke in front of students at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

He spoke of Britain’s plan to fortify its intelligence ties with its European counterparts, despite leaving the EU next year.

“The implications of the Brexit debate have been set out by ministers. For our part as SIS, we will always work with our sister agencies to strengthen our indispensable security ties in Europe.”

He said that Russia is an adversary that remains in “perpetual confrontation” with Britain and the West as a whole. He cited the “flagrant hostile act” of the alleged use of the lethal nerve agent Novichok on ex-Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.

He further claimed that the MI6 helped expose the “perpetrators” behind the attack, as well as coordinated the expulsion of Russian diplomats from NATO nations and other allies, following Britain’s determination that Russia was behind the attack. He claimed that the expulsions damaged Russia’s “intelligence gathering.”

He added that China’s dominance of emerging technologies presents a greater risk to security in the future.

Significantly, the French magazine “Intelligence Online” published an article called “La confronation Londres-Moscou passé par Kiev” (The confrontation London-Moscow passes through Kiev).

In it, the magazine reported that in addition to “direct clashes in the cyberspace” between Russia and the UK, the conflict has also moved to Ukraine, which the British intelligence services are increasingly supporting following the extensive presence in this country of US intelligence agents.

In addition, London is directly discussing with Kiev its cybersecurity support program for the Central Election Commission of Ukraine. This program is funded from the British budget, and includes the supply of technical equipment and training in “cyber-hygiene”, in accordance with the terminology of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

These courses, which are assisted by experts of the British intelligence services in the field of cyber operations led by the British Government Communications Center (Government Communications Headquarters, GCHQ), are conducted in collaboration with Ukrainian and US intelligence.

In addition to that, in terms of ground operations, the UK has 66 people in the OSCE mission in Ukraine, with the number two-man there is on the British Foreign Office’s payroll.

Is this possible that MI6 and the GCHQ are directly meddling in the upcoming Ukrainian elections and they were asked to do so. Not that the Integrity Initiative, wouldn’t do that regardless, since there appeared to be a form “cluster” in Ukraine, judging by the documents.

Imagine, though, if Mexico asked Russia’s FSB or “GRU” to “assist” the Central Election Commission. Unsurprisingly, the outrage and outcry would be massive from the US and the West as a whole.

However, it has been established that British and US intelligence officers are “good” by design, while their Russian and Chinese counterparts are “evil.”

WikiLeaks Emails Reveal Western Special Ops In Syria At The Start Of The War

Despite Western claims that the armed invasion against the legitimate and secular Syrian government was organic native to Syria, the facts have repeatedly proven just the opposite. For instance, it has long been known that, from day one, armed groups had been organized, trained, armed, and directed by the intelligence services of Western countries.

One such revelation was made in 2012 when emails from the “global intelligence” company Stratfor were procured and subsequently released by WikiLeaks which revealed that Western intelligence agents were on the ground in Syria training armed jihadists for sectarian and destabilization purposes long before it was actually admitted by the respective governments.

The emails recovered by WikiLeaks span a period between July, 2004 and December, 2011.

Stratfor, posing as an “intelligence publisher” provides confidential intelligence services to government agencies like the US Marines, US Department of Homeland Security, and the US Defense Intelligence Agency as well as large corporations such as Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Bhopal’s Dow Chemical Co.

WikiLeaks claims that the string of emails show Stratfor’s “web of informers, pay-of structure, payment laundering techniques and psychological methods.”

One of the emails sent internally in December, 2011 within the corporation entitled “INSIGHT – military intervention in Syria, post withdrawal status of forces,” deals with the subject of special ops being involved in Syria specifically. During the course of a meeting with “four other guys at the Lt. Col. Level, including one French and one British representative who are liaising with the US currently out of DC.”

IDF Delegation Goes To Moscow To Brief Russian Military On ‘Operation Northern Shield And Other Operational Issues’

On December 11th, a delegation of IDF officers will visit Moscow to hoold a meeting with the Russian side, the Israeli Defense Forces announced over Twitter on December 10th.

The Israeli delegation is to be led by the Head of the Operations Directorate, Major General Aharon Haliva and will brief the Russian side on Operation Northern Shield and other operational issues.

Following a phone conversation on December 8th, with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Israeli Prime Minister, as well as Health, Foreign and Defense Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the countries’ two militaries may meet in the following days to discuss cooperation in Syria.

“I talked to Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday. We agreed that the delegations of Russian and Israeli armies on coordination on Syria will meet as soon as possible. I hope this will be in the coming days, most likely in Moscow. And our meeting with President Putin will be held later,” Netanyahu said, according to his press service.

“This [phone conversation] was a follow-up to the talks in Paris, which were very crucial for ensuring the continuing cooperation, which the Russian Army and the Israeli Defense Forces have maintained for several years,” Netanyahu further said. The “talks in Paris” were a brief meeting between the two leaders on November 11th, on the Centenary of the World War I Armistice.

Israel launched the Northern Shield operation near the border with Lebanon on December 4th to spot and destroy tunnels dug by Hezbollah militants into Israel’s territory. It also trained Engineering Corps specialists in Europe in 2017, in preparation of the operation.

The Russian President in a statement “stressed the importance of ensuring stability in the region in strict accordance with Resolution 1701 of the UN Security Council,” referring to the 2006 UN Security Council resolution calling for Hezbollah to withdraw from southern Lebanon following the Second Lebanon War.

On December 7th, the Israeli Intelligence and Transport Minister Israel Katz, said that IDF may have to go into southern Lebanon to deal with the tunnels.

Israel also said that it would continue fighting against Iran’s expanding influence in the Middle East and in Syria in particular.

The relations between Russia and Israel took a downturn when on September 17th a Russian IL-20 was downed by Syrian S-200 missile defense systems, which were targeting four Israeli F-16 fighter jets attacking facilities in Latakia.

Israel denied responsibility. Vladimir Putin initially said that the incident was the result of a “chain of tragic accidental circumstances.”

However, later Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said that the Israeli Air Force and those who made the decision to use the Il-20 aircraft as cover are solely to blame for its crash. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenko also placed the entire responsibility for the downing of the Russian plane on Israel’s Air Forces and those who were behind the decision to use the Russian plane as a shield.

Following the incident, Russia supplied S-300 missile defense systems to Damascus in a move which Israel opposed. Moscow said the supply of the advanced anti-aircraft system was necessary in order to prevent further threats to Russian troops and to cool off “hot heads.”

Israel appears to be attempting to undertake steps to improve relations with Russia. However, in order to do so there will be a need for concessions, which Netanyahu’s, almost one-man, government may not be ready to provide.

The Next Generation Of "America's Thought Police" Is Being Birthed On Our College Campuses

f you want to understand the zeal with which social media platforms are now being censored, all you have to do is to look at what has been happening on our college campuses.

There is a national movement to combat “offensive speech”, and this movement has been working very hard “to scrub campuses clean of words, ideas, and subjects that might cause discomfort or give offense”. And these days, just about anything that you might say or think is probably going to deeply offend someone. For example, saying that “America is the land of opportunity” is now considered to be a “microaggression”, and even the act of hanging an American flag in front of your dwelling can also be considered to be a “microaggression” depending on the context. It can be tempting to laugh at how ridiculous our college students have become, but it is imperative to remember that these students all eventually enter the real world, and many of them end up in positions of power. And from those positions of power, they can make life extremely uncomfortable for all the rest of us. The “social media purge” is a perfect example of this, and the censorship of speech is only going to become more widespread as time goes on. The next generation of “America’s thought police” is rising, and they intend to make sure that the future belongs to the politically correct.

Things have already reached such absurd levels that even those that are attempting to “raise awareness of microaggressions” are being accused of “microaggressions” themselves. Just check out the following example…

Some recent campus actions border on the surreal. In April, at Brandeis University, the Asian American student association sought to raise awareness of microaggressions against Asians through an installation on the steps of an academic hall. The installation gave examples of microaggressions such as “Aren’t you supposed to be good at math?” and “I’m colorblind! I don’t see race.” But a backlash arose among other Asian American students, who felt that the display itself was a microaggression. The association removed the installation, and its president wrote an e-mail to the entire student body apologizing to anyone who was “triggered or hurt by the content of the microaggressions.”

The Many Methods of Mind Control and Manipulation—an Ongoing Worldwide Operation

A “profane” or materialistic view of telepathy became commonplace after World War II. Just as new mathematical models and theories of physics had been brought to bear on development of the atomic bomb, so too new tools were brought to bear on the human mind.

Just as Cold War scientists raced to design rocket engines and missile technologies that would give their country superiority on the nuclear battlefield, so too did scientists rush to develop ever more complex and thorough models of the human brain. They literally began to see the brain as a mental battlefield.

Implicit within this Cold War race to acquire brain “technology” was the crude assumption that the human mind could be mechanically “modeled” or understood as an artificial construct. The brain began to be viewed as a complex “thinking machine” or computer that could be analyzed, broken into component parts, and back-engineered.

Within this context, telepathy began to be seen as an exotic form of mental radio transmission, only one of many communication functions performed by the mental machine.

Communication per se was nothing new. But technicians became fascinated by the potential to communicate silently and covertly, at a distance. Likewise, telepathy seemed to offer a powerful means to distract and confuse the enemy, to program assassins, or to forcibly extract secret information from an enemy’s mind.

Put bluntly, the Pentagon began to see telepathy as a powerful multi-task weapon. The rush to develop “artificial telepathy” became a top-priority weapons program within the overall race for total mind control. Artificial telepathy cannot be fully understood outside this military context or the historical context of the Cold War. The research and development really did begin as a Cold War weapons program.

First Electromagnetic Beam Weapons

The background to the development of anti-personnel electromagnetic weapons can be traced to the early-middle 1940’s and possibly earlier.

Japanese “Death Ray”

The earliest extant reference, to my knowledge, was contained in the U.S. Strategic Bombing Survey (Pacific Survey, Military Analysis Division, Volume 63) which reviewed Japanese research and development efforts on a “Death Ray.” Whilst not reaching the stage of practical application, research was considered sufficiently promising to warrant the expenditure of Yen 2 million during the years 1940-1945.

Summarizing the Japanese efforts, allied scientists concluded that a ray apparatus might be developed that could kill unshielded human beings at a distance of 5 to 10 miles. Studies demonstrated that, for example, automobile engines could be stopped by tuned waves as early as 1943. (1)
