Not sure if it's already been posted, but vid-related is the full segment of the "oval office fight" that was broadcast.

 

I'm not seeing POTUS winning these two over, other than forcing a shut down, which initially POTUS tried to lay on Schumer, but later decided he would own that "proudly".

 

I'm not seeing the leverage POTUS has here. If they were scared of something, it certainly doesn't seem to be showing here.

I understand POTUS settled any argument of who as ownership of any shutdown that happens (whether border security is a worthy cause for shutdown or not is a matter of debate), but what incentive does Chuck have to pass anything at this point? Elections are too far out for anyone to remember what Chuck says or does right now.
