So imagine for a second that Moses never came down with the commandments. It's up to you to step forward and proclaim an easy to remember list of "crimes" against god. Where do you start?
1) Thou shalt no kill. cool
2) Thou shalt not steal, either by force, conspiracy, or deception (ok)
3) Thou shalt no lie either by direct falshood, rumor, gossip, or deception (ok)
4)hmm…what else…I know how about Thou shalt not rape fucking kids….you know what, no raping anyone :kids, women, men, animals (well, wait a second here)
5) No consuming human blood, flesh, organs, etc (well, that's just absurd)
6) How about no fucking slaves…either by force, conspiracy, deception, fraud, imprisonment, etc. (but muh easy life…)
Nope scratch those last 3….we gotta throw those out and make sure that "no making statues" and "OBEY mom and dad" make the top 10 - way more important!
Why? Hmm, maybe the fucking churches that control what makes it into the bible is into raping kids, human sacrifice and cannibalism, enslaving others, etc but if they spell it out then we would recognize them for the evil, demonic pieces of shit that they are and sever their goddamn heads.
The "church" is in your heart and in your communication with god, and when more than one are gathered in his name it is among you.
Bootlickers/weak people begging for a "king" in the guise of a priest, pope, etc allow evil to grow.
