Think it's been going on way longer than that, for example I believe it was J.P. Morgan who, acting as frontman, bought editorial space in a dozen or two of major U.S. papers, maybe even the papers themselves, to make a steady noise to convince Americans how wonderful the Federal Reserve would be. Bet there are many more examples of brainwashing by the cabal going back in time, the idea of us being cattle is not new.

The original premise of anarchism was everybody do their own thing, don't mess with others. That got twisted by the media, the movement and some particular problematic members were smeared as violent to discredit, don't want that idea catching on.
