GOOGs algorithms used to rank websites based on how important and relevant it is. They measured importance and relevance by the number of websites that linked back to it.
Over the years they have started determining what content should be at the top of search results. Burying opinions and stories they are against.
Google censorship is not something for the Chinese in the future. It's already here.
