So, yeah, there are a lot of connections to that in the tech world. Google has the ability to find nearly anyone, at anytime, to know their schedule, messages, sexual desires, medical issues, medications, where kids are, routines, etc. There are a ton of stories out of Africa about this happening. I am sure it happens a whole lot more there and broken nations than the west but I am sure it also happens in the west.
The fact Google operates in China means China has access to every single thing they are doing and every single file they have since China net is state controlled. Google and FB being there is not a coincidence.
