The French constitution makes it very difficult to oust the President outright. It would take a Coup d'Etat or an insurrection, which are still unlikely at this point.
The constitution allows the President to trigger a special election for the French version of the House of Representatives. It is one of the demands pushed forward by the Yellow Jackets. This path would allow Macron to relinquish some power and avoid a more violent uprising against himself.
Most likely IMHO he'll go full authoritarian.
