Depends on context, time & place. Connecting a mason jar to a secret coded message about masons in a context having nothing to do with politics or specific crime is an obviously intentional rider to push an agenda, aka, slide.

I've worked for defense b4, and know MI is found of using tests even on their own, to get them to sharpen their game, help flush out who's discerning, who will stand up even when it means going against the grain. Q would never want us to abandon logic in the name of being blind followers. Not saying this is an indication to stop trusting Q, not at all. Saying we don't know exactly why he posted it, and we shouldn't automatically jump to conclusions that it goes against the character of everything else he's posted and the nature of the mission he's given us.
