Army Ranger
Donald Q. Cochran is an American attorney and academic who currently serves as the United States Attorney for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.[1] Before assuming his current role, Cochran was a law professor at Belmont University College of Law. He was previously a professor at Cumberland School of Law and an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
Cochran is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Law School. Prior to attending law school, he served for nine years as an Army Ranger and Special Forces officer.
