I'm sorry Q, this is where it falls apart for me. Snowden will never be a traitor to me. The NSA committed the true treason by practicing unconstitutional mass surveillance against Americans, something that puts us all in terrible danger. Without him we wouldn't know about that mass surveillance, or about the stunning lack or outright corruption of oversight, that allowed things like the FISA abuse scandal to happen.

What access did Snowden give to the cabal? He didn't release any NSA cyberweapons, just general information on NSA's reach, what they were recording, etc. They released those themselves when they left them lying around unsecured on some server. See Shadow Brokers leak.

Without mass surveillance = with human rights. Freedom from mass surveillance is a human right, enshrined in the 4th amendment, and article 12 of the UN's UDHR. I don't really want to live in a panopticon, anon. That kind of shit makes me think genocide is imminent. Systems of mass surveillance facilitate genocides.

Is it dumb to question? Why does Q have such a fiercely pro-NSA anti-Snowden stance? I'm sorry anon, but I won't let this place rewrite my value system. Snowden is a fucking hero and I hope there are many others like him. He basically sacrificed his comfy life for the truth. What we learned from him is priceless. Our government does some shady shit, and part of Q's job might be to make us OK with that. Mass surveillance isn't OK, it's tyranny.
