So if we go to gold backed currency what does that mean for our current debt? Our wages? etc… Does everything get revalued? or is it 1:1 = no change?
other anons believe the debt would remain the same - I do not know about debt getting wiped out but I would think that it would have to be adjusted to account for the value of the dollar before being backed by gold? it is apples to oranges it seems..
