Except it wasn't cloudflare this time. It was backend servers.

Alacrity engine could keep up with the posting flood (writing to board).

Reading from CF seemed ok.

Which means backend got resource pegged and couldn't properly cache the posts to CF.

This is progress tho. Investments to CF have paid off. Now time to beef up the backend the same way.

Previously it was CF that was the choke point.

Right. It spikes and then slows during hot breads, but the per 750 posts metric is a good one over time.

We did better than last QA on posts per and uniques per metrics.

Also failure wasn't at the middle cloudflare layer, was at back end.

Now CM knows where to beef up the infrastructure this time.
