SPRING BROOK TWP., Pa (WBNG/WYOU) — A small plane made an emergency landing Tuesday in a northern Pennsylvania neighborhood. It was on its way to our area.
Around 10 a.m., the plane landed on Ohara Road in Spring Brook Township, Lackawanna County.
Emergency responders said the plane may have blown a motor.
No one was severely injured.
Angel Flight East, a volunteer non-emergency flight organization, said the plane was on its way to Binghamton with the remains of a deceased baby.
The organization told 12 News the remains were safely recovered by a funeral home.
