As this topic has continued to come up, I have decided to add my 2 cents and then walk away to other discussions. The topic is the shape of the earth, is it round like a ball or flat? Some think this is an intelligent question to ask, while others think it is pure nonsense. What is the truth? Maybe one day we will find out for sure or maybe we won't.
Like many others, I have spent a good amount of time looking into the subject. Upon my first glance I brushed it off as the most stupid thing to ever consider. Despite this, I continued to dig into the research available and found that there are many intelligent minds looking into this subject. It's been well over 4 years since my journey began. I do not regret a moment of it because along the way I have learned many things I had not considered before and that there is much credible information available. What I am presenting now is how I have connected the dots in following the bits and pieces of information available. You may see things other ways, but this is my version.
Since I have been on earth, I've been told that one of the most important books I am to read is the bible, so I did. Through the years of continued study I've learned that the bible was edited by man and as such was subject to the failings of men for a variety of reasons. Nonetheless, God's words and messages are still within those pages, we simply need to use our discernment to find that which men were trying to hide.
As I've grown older and continued to apply the biblical wisdom in my life, I've discovered that the bible has many more truths than I had previously known about in my early years. It was exciting to find that there was a deeper encoding of wisdom and it seemed important dig in and make a more concerted effort to find these hidden truths. In other words, to seek and find.
In the non biblical world, NASA has shown us an image of a world that is of a round ball spinning at roughly 2000 miles per hour. They have shown us a space program that is exploring other worlds and a vision of the earth we were not able to see without their technology. With such scientific information presented, how could anyone deny the veracity of their claims. To consider anything other than their word was blasphemy and not to be encouraged. However, I am not one to walk away so easily and found that their attempts to discourage my search, only made me feel that they were hiding something and made me want to know what it was.
The conflict for me came in understanding that what NASA says is different that what the bible says. Who was I to believe? How could I deny the words of the bible when it was been impressed upon me the importance of the book? Am I being asked to choose between God and science? Why is there such a discrepancy between these two?
There is no doubt that the bible describes the earth differently than NASA describes the earth. Both descriptions do not fit into the same model. I am told to believe the bible, but then I am told to make exceptions to certain passages that do not support what we are told is science. Perhaps many of you have come upon this same dilemma. Bible vs NASA.
The devil has been trying to defeat God for a long time. We have all been witnesses to this battle our entire lives. To me, this is just another one of these battles.
Personally, I do not believe that NASA has been honest with us about the shape of the earth. There is something more than what we are being told. I believe that the biblical descriptions of the earth have merit and support the idea that the earth is different that what we have been told and as such, that NASA has being dishonest with us for some reason. Hopefully one day we will all discover the truth.
This brings me back to the discussions at qresearch. Q provided an answer to a question that many are hanging onto as gospel truth. Yet we have also been informed that disinformation is necessary. While I believe that the subject of the earth's shape has merit and is worthy of intelligent discussion, I do not believe it is immediately relevant to the patriotic mission of taking back our country. I think to delve off into that discussion only distracts us from what we need to be doing here now. I think that Q wants to keep us focused because there are more important things to address on this board at this time. Let's take back our country first and discuss the shape of the earth later.
These are my 2 cents, make of it what you will.
